Altercation
No idea what it was about. 31 people on the pitch at least seemed a bit much as the game had finished and we had won 3-2. Two seconds later they were all hugging.
It was a little disappointing to have to get up normal time to get Ben to the ground for 9am training, but then we slunked around to watch the big boys play. The truth is, it had started as a cold, damp morning sitting on that concrete, and once the sun came over the mountain ridge, it was all I could do to angle myself better to soak up some more glorious heat like a lizard.
Lunch eventually turned into a cooking session for me and Little Agu in the late afternoon. We produced, according to Ben, some slightly disappointing savoury muffins and a slightly substandard apple and peach crumble. His actual words were, "you couldn't do worse mum". It was actually meant as a compliment, but he has such a particular way with words sometimes, you have to really look for them.
