Desert Road

Drove down from Auckland to Palmerston North today. What a beautiful day it was.
A fairly good and steady trip down.

Mt Ruapehu didn't really look very photo worthy so here is just a drive-by shot out my passenger window during the Desert Road stretch. (husband was driving!)
