The Square

Today we were in Palmerston North and this is a shot of the Clocktower in The Square.

We were there to watch the National annual Square Day Pipeband Competition.
The winners of Grade 1 were Manawatu Scottish.

We also caught up with our families (we are born & bred Palmerstonians) and a few good friends.

Nice sunny day with a bit of wind.
I didn't end up getting out my camera!! Shocking! Though I easily ran my battery on my phone flat with many snaps taken ;-)
