The storm is past....

160 miles an hour some places, raging seas, and 60,000 homes without electricity. I have to confess that in Edinburgh it wasn't much more than a bit invigorating - although we did lose one cowl of a chimney stack, and I saw a car with a smashed window where a street rubbish bin had hit it. On the whole, we were very fortunate.

And this morning it is as if it had never been.... A watery sun above the Pentland Hills.
