Christmas comes but once a year...

During the Commonwealth of England government under Cromwell, the Rump Parliament prohibited the practice of singing Christmas carols as pagan and sinful. Like other customs associated with popular Catholic Christianity, it earned the disapproval of Protestant Puritans. Famously, Cromwell's interregnum prohibited all celebrations of the Christmas holiday.

Now I know I get the reputation of being bah-humbug-ish.... but even I wouldn't go this far. ;-)

Seriously, it does begin to add to the season to hear some old Christmas favourites mixed in with the daily listen!
