Check mate

We spent a lot of today in the hotel gardens - it was glorious weather (I hardly dare say that, hearing what you are having at home.)

It was one of those days to do very little, to sit by the pool, read, swim and just relax. One of those days when Madeira has everything you could possibly want - including this gorgeous chess set.

Friends coming round to watch "Strictly - it takes two" and then we're going out for a meal...... and such choice.
