Camera-Shy

What a waste!

I spend far too much on smoking.

This picture contains 63 packets (cut down from 90).

The 63 packs at £5.30 each cost £333.90

There are some nice bits of photographic kit I could buy with that. So what do I do about it?

1. Steal ciggies from now on
2. Give up Smoking.

I suppose option two is best. Wingpig mentioned the other day that I may have to stop anyway as the spectre of the 1st July is fast approaching us poor unsuspecting Southerners

- but it is causing a right old kerfuffle in business circles.

For instance: the Act says that there will be no smoking on business premises, pubs, shops, public buildings, bus shelters etc.

But what we want to know is : For the purposes of the Act, are company cars classed as business premises?

The other one is: how can we expect a person who works on a dangerous job on the shop-floor and who smokes 40 a day, to suddenly stop smoking and still work safely?

You will doubtless have gathered that I don't approve of any of this.

Perhaps your experiences North of the Border will set my mind at rest.

Thank you
