Honestly.....sometimes I think people don't read books anymore.

Some quotes from the young people that I work with;

"what's this churchy stuff got to do with Christmas"? (carols at KINGS)

"OMG ARE YOU READING THE BIBLE!??" (A Christmas Carol by Dickens in hardback)

"Baby Jesus was born in a fable, wasn't he?" (ooooh so close, well, come to think of it..)

"I know chickens come from eggs but I didn't know ducks did....how weird?)

"Why are there 24 days on an advent calendar?" (!!!!!)

It seems impossible to me that they can exist in the real world when they are so estranged from it!! I am very tired.....how do you introduce such an amazing world to someone who has no experience of it??????

The day began well with an amazing moon set, got very silly and then ended with another lovely moon.
