A beautiful person who escaped a violent relationship elsewhere and found herself homeless in Grand Rapids. With some help from some friends, she eventually found housing and later became a volunteer in our community room.

She walked past my office today and asked why her picture wasn't on my wall. Easy fix for that :-)
