Sun Bathing

Well I wasn't sun bathing - still some snow around! But this little oyster catcher appears to be enjoying the last of the afternoon sun at 2:30pm. The sun goes down at about 3:30pm these days and It is dark by 4:30pm.

Once we are so close to mid-winter I start to enjoy the darkness cause I know it will soon start to get lighter. My Christmas tree is twinkling in the corner of my living room and I cant wait to see my grandson's faces when they arrive later. I think I'll put all the light out and only have the tree lights and a few candles on plus some Christmas music!

That should crank their pre-Christmas excitement up a notch or two!
