The Battle of Christmas Shopping

It can be such a battle at the shops right now, fighting through the Christmas shoppers, and these guys came well equipped....
Fortunately, the Sealed Knot were entertaining visitors to the Beverley Festival of Christmas event today, with their battle re-enactment complete with volleys of very loud musket shots!
The grey day and rain dampened the atmosphere a little, but it was a wonderful day out, with thousands of people packing the streets of this lovely East Yorkshire town, which is a favourite Sunday destination of mine.
Only 2 weeks to go to the big day.... Time is flying by isn't it??

Camera geek note, I was using my Canon S95 today, a handy little camera which produces superb image quality, but oh how it frustrates me! Just seems that little bit slow to shoot. My Ricoh and Lumix are much 'sharper' to use. So it'll soon be off on eBay, for a Fuji X10 :-)
