Double helping of Santa

With a full house again last night (Granny & Grandpa staying over plus my friend Virginia and her daughter Hannah too), it was nice to have so many people pottering around the house in the morning. Especially, as Foreveryoung & Eden arrived too.

Granny & Grandpa stayed to watch Ethan open a few presents (although it has to be said he wasn't particularly enthusiastic about it) and then headed home. After lunch, Ethan & I drove Virginia & Hannah to the airport. He fell asleep on the way there and carried on sleeping for 2 hours!

Once he woke up, Foreveryoung and I took him and Eden to the Heritage Centre to visit Santa. Ethan turned all shy when we went in to Santa's woodland house and wouldn't even look at him! However, once he had his present and we were walking away he kept saying "thank you Santa" over and over again, even 10, 15 minutes later he would suddenly come out with it!

We were just trying to get Ethan to finish his dinner this evening when I heard some loud music blaring up the street. We went outside to find Santa was doing the rounds of the local streets. Ethan seemed quite pleased to see him now although perhaps that was because he didn't have to get up so close this time round!
