Life on Sheep's Head

A whole pile of Tabbies on the bed

Oh dear me, what a VERY cold and horrid day. Sure, we got a ray or two of sunshine, but it was mainly stormy and extremely cold! We have snow on the far away hills and we got lashed by hail showers... Brrrrrrr!

In spite of all that I had a very good day. Managed to get our kids some presents, scored some more bling for the tree (which is actually full enough, but I just couldn't help myself), did all the weekend (food) shopping AND had a lovely *first ever-live-face-to-face* BLIP meeting!
OK so. If you insist on being technical, it's actually my second *blip* meeting, since I met Mr. Raheny_eye first. But! When I met him, I wasn't a blipper yet, so that doesn't count, does it?

Ah, the luxury of sitting down in a warm, cosy, christmassy hotel bar, fire burning and enjoying good chat, cappucino and warm mince pies and apple pie with cream! Such indulgence! Oh... And did I mention I love meeting new people? Well. Absolutely lovely.

I stupidly left camera in the car for blip meeting (so no pics of BAT, cappucino, yummy pies or cosy hotel bar, sorry!), but on the way home I did stop off to take pics of Bantry Bay and the snow covered hills. Not good enough for blip, though.

This will have to do. Walked into bedroom on my way to bathroom, saw this pile of Tabbies on the bed. A rare moment, as they are all usually scattered all over the house. Rather a touching site, made me wish I was a cat (for the umpteenth time).
