Coates Observatory

Sunny day so went out early to take some photos in case it didn't last, but it has been sunny all day.

The Coates family were once the biggest employers in Paisley at their mills, in fact more people were employed in Paisley in the mills than in any other city or town in Scotland at that time. They built the Coates Memorial Church and the Coates Observatory.
