The Hedera

There is a seasonal pattern developing in my last few blips.

We have had the Ilex aquifolium, and now the Hedera helix 'Hibernica'.

You may notice that the bottom of the ivy is bare. This is because it has been stripped by browsing animals! (Not bunnies trying to find a book).

Ivy appears on many lists of plants unattractive to rabbits, hares or deer. I just wish somebody would tell the deer!
