Battered and bruised, broken, but not conquered

After three hour's surgery during which torn shoulder muscles and ligaments were fixed, Hooligan is home, very sore, immobile, but on the mend.

During the surgery, the vet also removed his right eye which had been troublesome for a long time. Unfortunaltely the problem was due to cancerous growth inside, but fortunately no visible metastasis could be found.

He was also castrated in the hope that he will become more calm, less aggressive - but being already 10 years of age ... with set ways and habits, it might not work as well as we would like it to.

He has always been a remarkable little creature, been involved in many mishcief which led to expensive medical treatment ... but he is Hooli, the friendly dog with much attitude and a great joie de vivre.

PS: He has started hopping on three legs to join the rest of the troop, but cannot
really understand why he is not able to adopt the usual posture when he's out for a p.
