Edinburgh was so beautiful today: in the daytime, looking up at the castle, seeing all the people milling around. Then, as it got darker, the whole place came to life. Class.

Work Christmas lunch today too, with quiz organised by myself (e.g. In the song "the 12 days of Christmas, on the 9th day, my true love gave me what?), followed by pub crawl in Leith organised by James from our team.

Drinking from 12.30; home at 10.30pm. Not bad going...I think some of them are still out!
