1st Christmas present

Out to lunch today with our friends John and Angie, they live in a village about 40 minutes drive from us. We met them about 10 years ago, over here in a Chinese restaurant, they used to live in Quesada but moved to a traditional Spanish village. We always make a point of having a lunch just before Christmas and we exchange cards and gifts. I usually make them a fruit cake, and this year we received from them a tin of traditional sweets/cakes that you can only get at Christmas. More calories, but what the heck, I'll get back to the gym in the new year.
