YVONNE KEULS 80th BIRTHDAY

We went to the bookshop Paagman in the Frederik Hendriklaan in The Hague today. To be present at the celebration of the 80th birthday of the author Yvonne Keuls. Jan Paul Bresser had chosen suitable words along the alphabet for her and she gave at each her reaction.
The grandmother of Piet Hein happened to be the sister of her father. Both families came before Worldwar II from Batavia (Jakarta) to The Hague. They had lived in Indonesia (The Dutch Indies) all their lives and found the life in The Netherlands very cold and they could never assimilate totally.

At the end there was a signing session of her new book and the blip shows Piet Hein en Yvonne together. Mischa always a big fan of Yvonne was hugged too of course.
