Frosty morning walk

As Mike has been away for a few days it has fallen to me to take Bracken out 'first thing'. It had been another frosty night and as I am heavy laden with sore throat and cold (still) I was wrapped up in many woolly layers. Worth it though as the fields looked beautiful and the stile near the beginning of the walk was all sparkly. The frost makes such a pretty picture out of very ordinary things. Lots of potential blips but settled on this as literally a 'snap' of my almost daily walk.
I'm going to miss Strictly on TV, what a tremendous night of entertainment last night. Still lots of good things lined up, Downton for a start!
The tree is now awash with decorations and lights and the windows have the candle bridges lit. I've never been ready so early, thanks Shell!
