Peruvian nativity

These little figures are very typical of terracotta ware produced in the Ayacucho region of Peru. I have quite a few pieces and this nativity is a lovely reminder at Christmas of all the wonderful people and children I got to know and care for.
Frosty morning with ice on the roads when I turned in for a morning shift at the Oxfam shop. Not venturing out, looking forward to the Strictly final tonight glass in hand and cuddling up to Bracken on the settee.
