Empowerment

That's the name of this sculpture in Lincoln, over the River Witham in the city centre. We had time for a coffee (in Coffee Aroma, fabulous proper coffee shop) and then wandered down the high street to meet my stepdaughter - taking this photo from High Bridge on the way down. I took yesterday's blip photo of the fat pigeons near the sculpture - lots of swans, ducks, moor hens and of course pigeons, congregate down there on the river.

Nearly blipped this instead - it's the ceiling upstairs in the coffee shop we were in earlier, depicting the cathedral which is another amazing Lincoln landmark.

I've had a great weekend catching up with family and friends who I don't see enough of - but it's so good to be home again, relaxing and watching the rugby on TV.
