The Best birthday ever...

Today was a very special day. It was Caitlin's 4th birthday, and I think we managed to give her the best birthday present ever. Imogen came home for the day. As Alex had come down to pick us up, Caitlin had to go to her Aunty's for a couple of hours. When we got home, the first thing she did was give me a big cuddle and ask where Imogen was. She went over, stroked her foot ever so gently and told Imogen she loved her. I had a huge lump in my throat.
A great day. My parents came up, my sister and brother in law paid a surprise visit, and Alex's family joined us too. Hardly any of them had seen Imogen in 3 months.
Caitlin was spoilt rotten, and quite rightly so. After all, it's not every day you are 4.
