Heron

Last time I saw our 'resident' heron, was the 31st December 2010, just before I started this whole daily photo malarkey. Almost seems fitting I get another shot as the year comes to a close.

This time I got chance to open the window before I took the picture!

Watched it as it flew off, amazing how quickly it was just an average bird size shape in the sky.
