Sulfur tufts

These were growing in Oakland's Joaquin Miller Park today. They are quite beautiful, but I'm told they will give you a bad stomacheache.. so look, but don't eat.

We're off to Southern Oregon for a while, leaving by train tomorrow evening... expect pics, possibly some from the road.
