Weekend in the country over

We have never stayed at my brother in laws house and left the day we said we would. A beautiful house in the country, and just too comfortable. Life just slows down for some reason and we have zero inclination to come home. The company is good, the food is good, the setting is perfect.

But today time was up, overstayed by a day again, and even I was getting a conscience about leaving the cats. Which was about right as they had trashed our house by the time we got back. From what we can tell they must have gone on some wild eating binge and ate a 10 days of food in 3.5 days. Gorged themselves something stupid and then promptly ran out of food. It's not like our cats are particularly thin in the first place.

Anyway, the home is now cleaned and tidied, the kitties had a treat (yeah yeah), and are now sleeping it off, like the fat little pests they are ;)
