The afternoon sky

This is the view from my office window this afternoon. This little rainbow was so vivid and intense, it was beautiful.

The sky was so strange, from one window it looked like sunrise, from the other, sunset. The rainbow was in the middle. A little symbol of hope in an otherwise dreary afternoon.

You can't have a rainbow without a little rain, it reminds us that no matter how bad a situation is, there's always a silver (or coloured) lining!
