On the wall

This painting belonged to my grandparents and I always liked it. It is by James (Jim) Wright and I got the following information from here: 'JAMES WRIGHT VPRSW (Scottish 1885 -1947) Born in Ayr. Trained at Glasgow School of Art and painted breezy views of the west coast of Scotland in bright vibrant colours with exuberant brushwork. Also worked in France.' I think it is the same person??

Jim Wright was married to the sister of my mother's aunt's husband - I think! Perhaps this painting was a wedding present to my grandparents? Perhaps Mum knows?

Alison and Roger have another painting by him on their wall - maybe I'll blip it one day too.
