Rubbish!

I thought this was quite an up-market litter bin!

In the background the roof of the old Bank Mill can be seen. There was a lot of hope that the building was going to be developed into a heritage centre for Penicuik's papermaking history. A local community organisation rented the building for a year, raised the money they thought they needed to buy it and had wonderful plans for a first class tourist attraction with eco-friendly credentials. Sadly, this has all fallen through - seemingly because the owner wanted more money. It seems an enormous loss to me. Rubbish, I say!
