Hahei beach

This beach was called Hahei which apparently was a cry of utter amazement by an early Maori chief when he first visited and proclaimed its glory. sounds about right to me !! It was all but deserted today whic is one of the luxuries of being a new Zealand beach in summer.
Despite the almost kilometre of free space my two boys still managed to climb the same branch of the same tree and push each other off. Ruining the peace somewhat !
