Yeah VR

So why am I shooting a flower given my prior participation in ridicule episodes regarding manliness issues of floral subjects? Well I'm on a mini continuous roll since my shoddy Blip performance after achieving 365. I thought a desperation Blip tonight was in order and I am pleased that some wild flowers bloomed last week while we were in Cordova. What's amazing is I shot this at 11 PM with dusky light which resulted in really rich color. The reason it's amazing is that I shot it handheld at 1/13" speed and zoomed to 200mm. This was only possible with Nikon VR (vibration reduction) technology. I love that lens. If you don't have one, put it on your Christmas list.
