Less stress at the semester's end ...or?
My car didn't want to let me in today, as the car doors were frozen shut in the morning. The locks opened, but the doors not. Happily, the tailgate opened easily and I was able to ninja myself in. Tricky, but not really difficult - you just need to have some savviness when it comes to handling an old car.
Today was the last school day of this semester. For me, as I didn't have an exam left for today, it was just the Xmas occasion our Students' Union organizes every year for all students and teachers. Gluhwein and sweeties, some program, a movie by Drama course students and a little Xmas church visit with a little torch parade made the occasion this year. (I beared one of the torches and nothing got burned, really!)
Well, actually I had to do a "quick" English listening test thingy before the occasion, but that was nothing in my case. I wonder how many schools do have resources to arrange a listening comprehension test at the language lab for just one student on the last school day of the year, but I came to think it is just positive and somehow cosily flexible when it comes to a high school of just 105 students.
Sidenote: I hate it when I write "just" a 97/99 English essay and the teacher whines at me. Seriously, what? -.-
So now it is Xmas vacation and therefore no school until January 3rd. During this little break I'll try to tidy my writing desk (in the picture) a bit and perhaps move some odd paper/book/document/school task/etc stacks over. I don't really admit myself a messy person, but I rather enjoy sorting things in random stacks.
A notification referring to my right to vote in the Finnish Presidential Elections taking place in January 2012 arrived today. Soon it's the time again, I see.
