A Man and His Pasta
Although my Contraptioneer is a very fun guy, he has moments that look so serious, like when he's gripping a bowl of pasta and shrimp after spending a long day working on making the impossible happen. He provided this lovely one dish meal at the Cottage tonight as we prepared for Christmas guests.
We had a care conference to discuss the plan for Mother Comfort's continued care until she is ready to return to her home and her home is ready to receive her. She was quite discouraged at the thought of possibly staying another month, but I was encouraged that they thought they'd see enough progress in the future, that it may still take another month to conclude her therapy. We certainly will get her home sooner if we can finish everything sooner and she is ready to go. I do wish the process could be easier on her, but I know that some things in life can't be helped, and this is one of them. Sometimes it's better to be quiet and eat your pasta.
