Solar Lights

I spent some of the day with my grandchildren whose parents were at work. Oliver and Victoria worked very hard this morning, with only a little moaning, but between us we have done the housework for their mum, so that when she comes home after a long hard day at Addenbrookes, at least the house will be relatively tidy; for a while!

This is one of the strings of solar lights which we draped around the bushes yesterday. It has rained all day today and just as it got dark enough for the lights to come on, the rain became very much heavier; the blurry bits are rain on the lens! I played with this in Photoshop and in the end used the original as it came out of the camera. I would have liked to make the lights into stars, but I cannot remember how to do it.

Everything for Christmas is done, except the table presents are not yet wrapped; it feels like Christmas Eve although there is still one more day to go.
