Paths we walk

The path heads by a fence between trees. The interesting thing is that it is right by a major junction of the M1 between Chesterfield and Mansfield - the railings ahead mark the bridge over the motorway. This is a circular footpath inside the roundabout with tunnels under the busy road (glimpse of a road sign through the trees on the left) linking to various routes for walkers.

The rain was falling heavily - a thoroughly wet day, one of the few we have had here throughout the whole year.
