Ripples on one of the lakes at Carr Vale reserve. It's amazing how varied the results are in shape and colour even with subtle variations in the conditions.

Christmas Eve is my Mum's birthday. With three sons it has in the past often been one of the busiest days of the year for her. Today it is quiet with family visit postponed until next week.
