Poinsettia
This is a truly last minute blip. I'm wrapping presents, thinking that I will take some pictures of the pile before I put them in the trunk of the car. I totally forget, of course and I put them all in the trunk and I look at the clock and it's 11:25. Little more than a half hour and the day will be gone.
I got this unbelievably beautiful poinsettia delivered yesterday. An annual gift from my mom, this year's plant out did itself. The first thing I thought, was that I had to get some pictures. I know I wouldn't have, the time would have slipped past, in the hustle bustle of the last two days before Christmas. This blip commitment had me drop what I was doing, get the out the camera and take some pictures.
Posted by 11:30. I'm kind of proud of myself.
Tomorrow we head to Duluth to celebrate Christmas eve at my brother, Mark's. It's always a feat to get there with kids, all the presents and the dog, but what a great holiday celebration it is.
