High Noon

Very hot today and those who weren't on the beach seeking the sun were seeking the shade where possible. We were most definitely in the second group as I have a love hate relationship with the sun and can get grumpy when hot and sticky and it seems to take all my energy just to do everyday tasks. Not to mention having to wear gungy suntan cream! But I do love that first feeling of heat on my body, especially after sunless periods. Wonder how I'll cope in Belem in Jan, as it was showing 40 degrees the other day. The school has aircon at least, which, although not a big fan of, is absolutely necessary at times.
