Backblip

Passing through security at Rio airport yesterday, I glanced down at our flip flops and said to Bb, 'Hope we don't have to take off our shoes!' Original flight to SP was cancelled because of the strike here, but we were put on another, so all ok. This cyclist was taken from the car window as we travelled from Sao Paulo two hours up the coast to the literal norte and the small town of Juquehy. It was pouring rain for most of the journey and the temperature a chilly 20C in Sao Paulo ;-) but as we dropped down to the coast through the tunnels it rose to 28C. Got settled into the pousada we know well from when we lived in Sao Paulo and then walked along the beach for dinner. Lovely to be back and nice that the owners still remember us and that the place is as lovely as ever. We're here till Monday.
