The Sky Was On Fire And I Thought Of You

Bleary-eyed, Dad and I entered M&S at 6.30am after being sent to collect the food Mum had ordered for the Big Meal tomorrow. I'd volunteered to go for the opportunity of a bit of stargazing and a catch up with my old man.

The real treat was arriving home just after 7am, climbing up onto the window ledge and watching the most wonderful sunrise. I wish I could've captured it better, but my hands were a bit shaky with the cold!

Later in the day we headed over to Dave & Sarah's for a lovely Christmas Eve dinner... Nathan is four now and was on excellent form, racing up and down and begging Rhi and I to play trains with him. He is a treasure.
