Christmas Day Sun on South Beach

Had a wonderful Christmas day. Spent the morning leisurely opening presents and got lots of lovely, thoughtful gifts from family and friends.

Took real pleasure watching mom and dad open their gifts this year as I've pushed the boat out a bit and it was wonderful to see the suprise and joy on their faces. I love them very much so it was great to make them both so happy.

Sat down to a delicious dinner around 1pm, then mom and I went for a stroll on the beach where I took this shot. The sun was just right, it'd been dull and windy all day, but the sun came out for a couple of hours. There weren't too many people walking so I was glad to get this couple to make for a more interesting shot.

After our walk, we settled down to watch the latest Pirates of the Carribean film and have a few tipples.
