Christmas Eve!

Our traditional cake-decorating Christmas Eve activity. A couple of years ago my mum let me decorate it unsupervised and it was not, shall we say, a success.

This year, as you can see, it went much better, mainly because the icing wasn't melting as we did it. Still, I am pretty proud of us! My friend T came round and helped A and I decorate it. She actually assisted in the previous year's creation disaster, but this year we had both shown a marked improvement! I should note that the blue squiggles on the pond are waves. Also there are obviously loads of Christmas puddings in the Antarctic.

General Christmas Eve stuff went down the rest of the day - peeling and buying last minute nibbles etc. Was fun!
