A Blur of a Year

I did this on purpose - I took the subject with clarity and then with blur. The blur spoke to me!

Here it is with the year coming to an end and a new one to start; one would think that as one does less in each day with the passage of time, there would be more clarity for the year's events. Somehow that does not feel quite the case! Could it be the patterns of a lifetime, that although they shift, the basic strands of the story are not all that different.
