Mountain Goats

I finally managed to snag a picture of the mountain goats. There is a section of highway that the goats graze near quite frequently. I managed to pull off and snag a few pictures on the way home this morning. I sure do wish I had a telescopic lens so I can take better close ups of wild life. Oh well, perhaps when I get a new camera years down the road :)

The kids and I had a nice walk through City Park today. They really enjoyed running off some energy and climbing a few trees. We also walked into the downtown area and had a hot chocolate and a peek at some books in the bookstore.

I just realized we have a Robert Bateman print "Sheer Drop" of mountain goats that is somewhat similar to this picture. It's hanging above the fireplace.
