Birch Stand

This morning's walk was for exercise rather than companionship or blipping. But I still managed to find something to look at in the weak winter sunshine.

These silver birches struck me as interestingly messy: they aren't evenly spaced and none seem to be growing straight or even crookedly in the same direction. Which gives them a certain charm.
