Christmas Eve dawn

We awoke to a beautiful dawn of basking rosy light. This is the view from our bedroom.

A quiet day at home preparing the vegetables and trimmings for tomorrow's feast. In the evening the Gs, our neighbours from over the road came in for a drink and some smoked salmon in front of the wood fire and Christmas tree with their new baby and little girl.
