Crystal clear

Very few things are. A happy Christmas somewhat tempered by knowing that the Aged P. is distressed and struggling with her latest life change.

Good things about today: got rid of the most stupid and overrated vacuum cleaner ever invented (the Dyson) and bought a new Henry. Hooray. it does what it says on the box. Coffee with The Girl Racer in Starbucks. Had a little time reading my latest photography books. And a lovely evening - did a buffet for a few selected friends. Would you believe deep fried Brussels sprout, haloumi cheese and chestnut tempura?

Now tired and thoughtful. Another new year beckons soon ...
