Christmas Day

It's Christmas!

Had a really lovely day today. Opened stocking presents with Chez early this morning in bed which was fun, then moved into lounge with a coffee to open main pressies. She bought me some gorgeous presents - tops from Republic and a book series by Rachelle Mead to name a few! She loved her presents too, which is good.

About 11 we made our way to Mum & Dad's and hung out for a bit with Dad and Grandpa until Mum finished work at 2:30. Had an amazing lunch - the most gorgeous roast beef with stilton and port gravy and crispy roast potatos. Dessert was a choice of luxury M&S Christmas Pudding or Chocolate Roulade - both delicious!

Later on in the afternoon we swapped presents and again I was very lucky and was given some lovely things. Dad then created us all a Russian Pom cocktail - vodka, sparkling wine and pomegrante liqueur - very strong, but nice!

We attempted a game of Monopoly, but as we are all quite possessive over the properties we acquire the gamed dragged on and after 2 hours we called Chez the winner.

Had a really great day - it has been a difficult year and I think it is important to all be together and enjoy each others company.
