Quiet

Finally home after 24 hours under the flight path of Sydney airport (a couple of miles away) and four hours of buses and trains at either end of it.
It was lovely to see everybody, but I was glad to get back to the peace of home. For some reason, the washing-up I did before leaving the previous day - just sitting there on the draining board, shining in the afternoon sun - seemed best to illustrate the incredible quiet I enjoyed for the rest of the day.
