Pohutukawa, New Zealand's Christmas tree

I love seeing all the Pohutukawa in bloom at this time of year. The area that we live in is called the Pohutukawa coast, and it really gets exaggerated with the blossoms out.

Another chilled out day today, spending Xmas vouchers this morning (before the crowds), then home to play. I took myself out for a walk this afternoon, and the Husband has been a marvel and cooked dinner while I was gone.
